Busan photo spots: choose your scene first
Compare Gwangalli, Haeundae, Gamcheon and Jeonpo by scenery, walking conditions and weather, then build a route that fits your day.

Start here
Choose Gwangalli for a bridge and sea backdrop, Haeundae for a beach and coastal walk, or Gamcheon for hillside colours. Pick one main area and keep a second stop optional.
Gwangalli: the bridge across the water

Gwangan Bridge is the defining background here. Start on the public beachfront promenade and look for a frame that includes water, bridge and some breathing room around the person. A waterfront view does not require stepping onto the road or blocking a path.
Daytime and the illuminated bridge offer different scenes. Choose which matters to you rather than waiting for a guaranteed sunset. Wind, weather and crowds can change the result; check conditions before leaving.
Haeundae: beach space and a coastal walk

Use the beachfront for a wide sea scene, then consider Dongbaekseom for a different coastal setting. Treat the walk as part of the outing, with time to stop and return, rather than adding it between distant appointments.
A beach route and a coastal path have different surfaces. Check access notices and the specific path if you use a wheelchair or pushchair. If wind or rain makes the shore uncomfortable, shorten the outdoor route.
Gamcheon: colour with slopes and stairs

The coloured houses and hillside alleys are the reason to come. This is also a residential neighbourhood. Stay on public visitor routes, keep entrances clear and ask before photographing someone closely.
Plan for uneven ground, slopes and stairs. Carry less, wear shoes suited to walking and check the return journey before heading into the alleys. If stairs are a concern, choose a shorter route or a different area rather than assuming the whole village is accessible.
Jeonpo: choose everyday city scenes

Choose Jeonpo near Seomyeon when you want streets and an urban day instead of a beach backdrop. Look for a quiet public stretch where a short stop does not interfere with residents or business entrances.
A shopfront is not permission to photograph inside. Ask the operator before using an interior, and keep customers out of your frame. We do not recommend individual cafés without verified food and dietary information.
Build one route, not a citywide photo chase

For a coastal day, make either Gwangalli or Haeundae your anchor. For western Busan, give Gamcheon its own journey and combine it with Nampo only if your pace allows. Jeonpo fits more naturally into a central city day.
Save the place names in Korean as well as your own language. Check the live route, station exit and walking section on a current map. Geography alone does not tell you how long a transfer will take.
Keep a weather alternative
In rain or strong coastal wind, move the outdoor stop to another day if you can. A nearby indoor break is an alternative to consider, but check opening hours and photography rules before relying on it.
These are suggestions for exploring and taking your own photographs. They do not establish a commercial shoot permit, promise a particular image or confirm a photographer booking.
Before you go
