Our trip fell in the late-October rainy season, so I worried whether the sunset would show at all, but happily we got to see a pink one. Thanks to Rozer's directing, our natural side was captured well, and that satisfied me most. We came home with a framed photo for our newlywed home and a wish fulfilled. (excerpt)

Really, really beyond satisfied!!!! Five stars isn't enough. We walked around for an hour, and since it was right before the rain everyone was dripping with sweat, but Rozer directed the two of us — stiff as we are — and he knows the pretty moment when he sees it, so I think the photos came out lovely. For the city shoot we just wandered around near where we were staying, so everything was improvised. A photographer really is a photographer..! (excerpt)

Our first family trip in a very long time. If I had to pick the single best thing we did on it? I'd say it without hesitation: the family session. (excerpt)

Before you book

The four questions we're asked most, answered up front.

When do we get the photos, and how many?
You get 20 colour-graded photos plus your originals. Depending on the photographer, that means either every original from the session or a selected set. We send everything as a Google Drive link, and the link stays open for 30 days from the day we send it.
What happens if it rains?
Weather in Kota Kinabalu turns fast, so we don't decide off the forecast. If it's raining an hour before your session we'll message you, and that message is not a cancellation. If there's any chance at all we meet and go to the location together; if it won't work, we rebook you on the spot. Morning rain usually moves the session to the afternoon, afternoon rain to the next day.
Can we bring our children?
When you book we ask about your child's nap and meal times, then set the session for when they're at their best, somewhere with little walking. On the day we build in snacks, water and breaks, and if your child gets upset we change the order of the shots. We never push a child into a pose.
Do you pick us up from our hotel?
Pickup is included for hotels in Kota Kinabalu city and Tanjung Aru. If you stay at Rasa Ria or Nexus, shooting in that area adds USD 40, this applies whether or not you take the pickup. For Pan Borneo the USD 40 is the pickup itself. If you're shooting in the city it is sometimes easier to come in on the resort shuttle or by Grab, and we'll work that out with you when you book.

The shoot itself is led by our local photographers, so on the day you'll be speaking English or Malay. Everything before that, questions, dates, booking, goes through our own team, and we take inquiries in Korean, English, Chinese and Malay.

Your day in Kota Kinabalu, kept in photos

We'll work the time of day and the route around them, and tell you straight if something won't fit.

How it works: you ask → we confirm your date → we send payment details

Start with an inquiry, tell us your dates and who is coming, and we will come back with what is open and what it costs.
